Questions About Our Rahway Clinic
What insurance does the Rahway clinic accept?
We work with Medicare Part B and most PPO plans, and we treat many patients through workers' compensation (state claims and federal FECA), motor vehicle accident (no-fault/PIP) coverage and the VA Community Care Network. Our Rahway front desk checks your coverage at no charge, so call 732-428-5566 before you come in.
Do I need a referral for physical or occupational therapy in Rahway?
Not in most cases. New Jersey's direct access law lets you start physical therapy without a prescription, but some insurance plans still require a referral or prescription to pay for it, so we check your plan before your first visit. With Medicare you can start without a referral, but your physician must certify your plan of care, and we coordinate that with your doctor.
Do you have a hand therapist in Rahway?
Yes. Brandon Gorny, MSOT, OTR/L, CHT, is a Certified Hand Therapist at our Rahway clinic. He treats hand, wrist and elbow injuries and conditions, including rehab after hand surgery.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Bring ID, your insurance card, any referral or prescription, and any surgical or imaging reports. If you had hand surgery, bring your surgeon's protocol if you have one. Your therapist will evaluate you and start your plan, usually that day.
What are the Rahway clinic's hours?
Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
